Dr. Simpson (previously Dr. Handford) graduated from UGA's Veterinary College in 2016. She is from South Carolina, but decided to stay in Georgia after meeting her husband while in veterinary school. She has a passion for animals with special interest in reproductive medicine. She also breeds and shows Betta Fish and enjoys photography.
Dr. Stuart Rackley was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in Lilburn and graduated from Parkview High School. He graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture through the University of Georgia's College of Agriculture and Environmental Science. In 1987 he graduated with his DVM through the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. He worked with two different veterinary hospitals in Cumming, GA and Sandy Springs, GA before opening Auburn Animal Hospital in 1994. Dr. Rackley is an enthusiastic cyclist including both mountain and road biking.
Dr. Sarah Walter grew up in Roswell, GA. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Agriculture from UGA and received her DVM from UGA's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She has been practicing at Auburn Animal Hospital since. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Georgia Veterinary Medical Association. She likes spending time with her husband, 7 year old daughter, 4 year old son, and furry critters (2 dogs, 3 cats, and a horse). Dr. Walter enjoys going to church, local parks, camping and horseback-riding.
Dr. Johnson graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from UGA. After receiving her DVM she went on to receive her PhD with her expertise being in Clinical Pathology. She comes to us from Mississippi State where she was professor for Pathobiology and Population Medicine. She lives in Barrow county with numerous animals such as 80 plus chickens, geese, dogs, cats, bunnies just to name a few she is a true animal lover.
