DeeDee Bentley 

         Receptionist

Deedee has been with our hospital since 2004.  Her and Guy live in Auburn with Buddy, Nieto, and Biddy.  Deedee has 2 children and several grandchildren and is very well respected in our community.  She enjoys working outdoors, cooking and spending time with her husband.

Jennifer Fitzgerald

​             Vet Assistant

Jennifer lives in Winder with her husband Steven.  Jennifer and Steven share their home with two Pit-bull Terriers Piper and Finn and one cat named Ghost.  Jennifer has a big heart and loves all animals.



Charlie Stephens

​             Kennel Assistant

Charlie started late 2018 and loves caring for your pets while you are away. She cares for each of them as she would her own, and is a great addition here at Auburn Animal Hospital.



Spence King

​       Lead Vet Assistant

Spence is a fantastic asset to our team here at Auburn Animal Hospital. He is the certified fixer of all our equipment here and keeps everyone in line as well. He has a variety of pets at home and loves to save the neonate pets that need extra help to get well.

April Long 

         Receptionist

April has been with our hospital since 2017.  She has 2 dogs and cares for her neighborhood cats. She also has 2 daughters and enjoys spending time with her family whenever she has time off.

POKEY (R.I.P. 2018)

After almost 10 years, Pokey, our clinic cat, passed away in 2018. He was a long time favorite, and we were sad to let him go. He fought a good fight against cancer for 2 years.

Savannah Rutledge

​             Vet Assistant

Savannah has been with us since 2017. She lives with 2 surrendered cats from the clinic, one eyed Fetty, and tailless Bobby. She also enjoys her family Boston Terriers.



Shawn Cowles

​       Vet Assistant

Shawn started as a kennel assistant while attending Apalachee High School.  With his compassion for animals no wonder he moved up to vet assistant since 2014.

Amber Garrett

​             Vet Assistant

Amber started as a kennel assistant in 2017 and was promoted to vet assistant in 2018 after showing an apptitude for the profession. She lives with 4 dogs, Bella, Champ, Shorty, and Sadie, all rescues from different times in her life.
